WHO ARE WE?

NextMed Academy is a student agency dedicated to helping aspiring medical students study at the Third Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, in Prague. The agency was born from the journey of two alumni: Dr. Kassandra Beltran and Dr. Paulo Sousa Palma.

“Unlike other agencies, we focus exclusively on one faculty - the Third Faculty of Medicine. This faculty holds a special place in our hearts - it’s where we studied, grew, and became the doctors we are today. That said, no school is perfect, and we’re not here to pretend otherwise. Our approach is rooted in transparency. We want to help students understand if this faculty is the right fit for them, because when it is, we know from experience that can be the best six years of your life!”

What makes us different is not just that we studied here—but that we stayed involved. As former coaches in the university’s mentoring program, heads of the international section of our student association, members of the university senate, and anatomy teachers, we’ve seen this faculty from all sides: as students, as teachers, and as part of the academic staff. That experience shapes the way we support you—practically, honestly, and with care.
